Troubleshooting

Information:

• This system converts your brake/running light bulbs to sequential turn signals, sequential brakes, running lights.
• The factory turn signals are decommissioned and the amber lens area can be tinted black, using your preferred method, if you wish.

Notes:

• The factory signal light flasher will need to be upgraded to an electronic signal light flasher, to accommodate the electronics in the module (I sell an adjustable, electronic signal light flasher).
• Please use LEDs with this kit. (Please note that some LEDs are not compatible with this system. As it is difficult to determine which LEDs are compatible, I have designed my own compatible LEDs. You can find them listed in the store).

Installation:

• Locate and remove the existing signal light relay (engage the turn signal (Not Hazard Lights) and follow the ticking sound).
• Replace the original signal light relay with an electronic style (LED Compatible).
• Remove tail lights.
• Remove the 8 bulbs that are used for running lights, brake lights, and turn signals. (Four 1157 bulbs and Four 194 Bulbs).
• Install the provided 1157 and 1156 style adapters into the correct factory pigtails. The adapters will be labeled (Passenger side turn signal pigtail, Drivers side turn signal pigtail, Drivers side brake pigtail).
• Install the desired bulbs into the new pigtails that are provided with the sequential harness.
• Carefully re-install the tail lights and tuck the wiring in a save location, where it will not be damaged.

Show Off Mode Enable:

• Turn off all lighting, so no power is being transmitted to the tail lights.
• Apply and hold the brake pedal
• While holding the brake pedal, toggle the running light switch (On – Off)
• Show off mode is now enabled, ***while you are depressing the brake pedal.***
• Alternatively, to keep the module in show off mode, while still holding the brake pedal, you can turn on the running light switch. You may now release the brake pedal, as the running light switch is providing power to the module.
• Once power to the module is removed, the module will reset and resume normal operating functions.
