These are a direct replacement, Plug N Play, Bolt – On front turn signal for the 1982 – 1990 Firebird.

Typical Max Temperature Notice

• Most electronic components have a recommended maximum operating temperature of around 167 – 185 Degrees F (75 – 85 Degrees C). This is very common for nearly all electronic products but many companies don’t provide this information. Please keep this in mind when using this product. If you live in a particularly hot location, please try to park in shaded areas to prevent the sun from overheating the displays. Warranty will be voided if these precautions are not implemented.

Installation:

• Disconnect and remove factory front turn signals
• Mount the BraveTECH front turn signals using the factory hardware (They fit in the factory location)
• Plug the “1157 style” adapter into the factory pigtail (Ensure the adapter is installed in the correct orientation) 
• Install the Factory pigtail into the BraveTECH Signal Light Housing
• Connect front turn signal “Communication wire 1” to other “Communication wire 1”. This allows the two displays to communicate with each other.
• If show off mode is desired, connect the front turn signal’s Red 12V wires to an ignition switched 12v accessory wire, or toggle switch. This allows the front turn signals to have a constant supply of 12V power while you have the show off mode enabled. Please make sure to turn off power to the front turn signals when vehicle is not in use. Otherwise, the internal displays will gradually drain the battery.
